A poet once said April is the cruelest month. I don’t think he was talking about the day we have to settle up with the IRS, but he could have been. Then there are all those dreary rainy days, but that’s another story.
This year tax day comes a bit later for some reason. Returns are due by midnight Monday, April 18. And here’s some better news: some eating establishments are offering relief in the form of good deals and even freebies.
Cinnabon. Get two free Cinnabites on April 18 from 6 – 8 p.m. at participating locations.
Maggie Moo’s. Pick up a free mini ice cream sundae at Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream and Treatery on April 18 from 3 -6 pm. Limit one free sundae per person. Available while supplies last.
Chili’s. Free appetizer or dessert with purchase of an entrée with this printable coupon. Guests may also redeem the special by displaying the coupon code on their smartphones to servers. Offer does not include the Triple Dipper appetizer.
California Tortilla. Get a free side of chips and cheese or chips and salsa with purchase of any California Tortilla on April 18.
McCormick & Schmick’s. The upscale seafood chain is offer $10.40 entrée and drink specials all day long on April 18.
P.F. Chang’s. The Chinese chain will take 15% off your bill on April 18, no coupon needed on both dine-in and take out orders.
IHOP. Kids eat free (12 and younger) with each adult entrée the entire month of April.
