Since 2005 Garces has opened six restaurants in Philadelphia and Chicago including Amada, Tinto, Distrito, Chifa, Village Whiskey and Mercat a la Planxa. Additionally Garces authored Latin Evolution and is one of just a handful of chefs holding the title of Iron Chef America.
