Jose Garces is the owner and executive chef of the Garces Restaurant Group. Since 2005 Garces has opened six restaurants in Philadelphia and Chicago including Amada, Tinto, Distrito, Chifa, Village Whiskey and Mercat a la Planxa. Additionally Garces authored Latin Evolution and is one of just a handful of chefs holding the title of Iron Chef America.
