Applebee’s will provide a free meal to veterans and active-duty personnel on November 11, with seven entrees from which to choose.

Chili’s Bar & Grill is offering all military veterans past and present their choice of one of 6 meals. This offer is available from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on November 11, 2011 at participating Chili’s in the U.S. only.
As usual, this restaurant will offer a Free Grand Slam breakfast to any veteran.
Giordano’s honors United States Military veterans and those in active duty by announcing an ongoing discount for military personnel: 20% off any dine-in order for those with valid military identification. This offer will kick off this Veteran’s Day and continue throughout the year. On Veteran’s Day this year, Giordano’s will also offer a complimentary appetizer to any service man or woman in uniform. The 10th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation dinner will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in all Golden Corral Restaurants nationwide. The free “thank you” dinner is available to any person who has ever served in the United States Military.

Located in the South Loop, The Scout Waterhouse and Kitchen will host a post-race party on Saturday, November 12 for the Move with the Forces 5k Run/Walk from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Race registrants and volunteers who attend this event at The Scout will enjoy one complimentary appetizer with a soft drink. Registrants will be required to show their race bib and volunteers must show their volunteer badge for admission. A special brunch menu will also be available with items ranging from $6 – $10.
