Treat Your Valentine to Dinner in a Castle

What could be more romantic than dinner with your one true love in one of America’s most famous castles?

Yes, we’re talking about White Castle, and they’re doing it again: offering special “reservations only” candlelight dinners on Valentine’s Day, February 14, at participating restaurants. (Wonder if they’re the special burger-scented candles?)

The sliders-and-fries chain is now taking reservations for the big night, which includes table service and “lovey-dovey decorations” as described by the White Castle folks. The dinner for two includes 10 sliders, two 21-ounce sodas and french fries for $10.49, “leaving plenty of room in the budget for flowers, candy and entertainment.” You’ll also receive a collapsible White Castle vase to take home as a memento of your special evening.

The company closes participating locations to make it couples-only during the event. You can find reservation details here.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of White Castle’s Valentine’s Day promotion, and it’s grown bigger every year, according to the chain.

In a statement, Jamie Richardson, White Castle VP-corporate relations, said the Valentine’s program has been “a huge hit because a lot of our loyal customers — fondly known as ‘Cravers’ — either met in a White Castle Restaurant or have other enjoyable memories they like to celebrate here.”

Last year, White Castle hosted nearly 4,000 couples at 157 locations, which is more than a third of the company’s units.

If you want to reserve a table, better act fast. Valentine’s Day is mere days away.
