Foodservice Pros Who Share Their Story Earn a Chance to Win Two Commercial Blenders of Their Choice

CLEVELAND – Vitamix® is asking foodservice professionals and mixologists, “How Does Vitamix Inspire You?” in its Vitamix Inspires contest, which launched at the 2011 National Restaurant Association (NRA) show in Chicago. The contest, which runs until June 30, 2011 builds upon the company’s long-time commitment to foster a distinct personal connection with its customers by inviting them to share their story about how Vitamix has inspired them on the job.

By submitting a testimonial to www.vitamix.com/innovates, participants can share their experience for the chance to win two Vitamix commercial blenders of their choice, which will be awarded for the most inspiring story. Both users in the foodservice industry and establishment operators are eligible to enter the contest by stating how Vitamix products have inspired them and helped their business in the process.

“We’ve launched the Vitamix Inspires contest as yet another way to hear what our customers are saying and to be able to share the enthusiasm and passion that our customers have,” says Rula Stamatis, marketing manager for Vitamix. “This contest further demonstrates our dedication to providing the highest quality products and excellent customer service – and reinforces the fact that we do more than provide tools to our customers; we also give them ideas to improve their businesses.”

Participants’ essays must address the theme: Vitamix Inspires, detailing how using Vitamix products have boosted creativity, ingenuity and quality in their establishments. All submissions must be typed in English and not exceed 250 words in length. Each entry must contain the participant’s first name, last name, date of birth, home address, city, state, zip code, e-mail address and home telephone at the time of submission. All essay entries must be received by 11:59 pm ET on June 30, 2011.
