Former President Bill Clinton will address attendees at the 2012 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show (NRA) on May 6. Clinton will share insights into his presidency and his current work with the William J. Clinton Foundation. The NRA Show will be held at its new dates of May 5-8, 2012 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
“President Clinton has a unique perspective on our nation and the world,” said Jack Crawford, Convention Chair for NRA Show 2012 and President and CEO of Ground Round Independent Owners Cooperative, LLC (IOC). “Clinton’s insights are sure to be both interesting and entertaining, making his keynote address one of the main attractions at NRA Show 2012.”
After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. Today the Foundation has staff and volunteers around the world working to improve lives through several initiatives. In the U.S., that includes working to combat the rise in childhood obesity through the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
The NRA event attracts 58,000+ attendees and visitors from all 50 states and 100+ countries, and showcases many of the latest products, services, and innovative ideas in the industry.
