The Idaho Potato Commission is celebrating its 75th year by taking the world’s largest potato across the country to visit other food icons. On August 27th, 2013 the potato visited the world’s largest fork at Food Channel in Springfield, Missouri USA. This is the second year for the tour which stretches from the west coast to Times Square to the tip of Florida. Part of the effort is to raise awareness of Meals on Wheels so no senior citizen goes hungry.
