Was there ever a more fun-sounding day than National Chocolate Pudding Day? When the box came through The Food Channel mailroom, there was a rush to be part of the tasting group. And the consensus for our sample from the Kozy Shack people? Definite lip smacking approval. The pudding was deeply chocolate, no chemical aftertaste, and as smooth as any homemade pudding we’ve tasted.
They also shared with us a few ways to celebrate the day:
1) Share a spoon . . . because friends who eat pudding together stay together.
2) Say it with pudding . . . if you’ve always wanted to tell someone how much they mean to you, offer them a bite and see what happens.
3) Make it a pudding day . . . have pudding for breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert–any and all of the above, please!
4) Let someone else have the last bite of pudding . . . if you can.
Kozy Shack is celebrating what they call the Summer of Pudding over the next three months, so you have more than a day to practice these tips. Next up is National Tapioca Pudding Day on July 15 and National Rice Pudding Day on August 9. To learn more, or to participate with your own pudding ideas, follow them at #SummerofPudding.
