National Waffle Day gives you every possible excuse to waffle—in a good way. According to our friends at NationalToday.com, a poll of more than 2,000 Americans reveals that they’re all-in when it comes to this traditional favorite.

Boomers Take The Waffle
Eight in ten Americans say they love waffles. However, it’s the Boomers who have the market cornered, with 76 percent saying they’re in love.
Gender Does Matter
Approximately 80 percent of women love waffles, compared to 69 percent of men. But that could be related to waffle-iron acumen…
Waffle Snobs?
The higher the declared income bracket, the lower the preference for waffles. It’s not a huge gap, but for those with a household income less than $50,000, 78 percent have a waffle affinity. For those greater than $100,000, it drops to 70 percent.
Regional Influence
When looking at the results by region, it’s not surprising that the South has the greatest love for waffles, followed by the Midwest, West and East. So what are those folks in Maine using all that great maple syrup to cover?
