Description:

I watched Chef Pietro at Civico 1845 make his pappardelle brassato and linguine alle vongole. The short rib ragu was tender and rich. The clams were fresh and cooked in a simple garlic and white wine sauce. Civico 1845 is one of the Little Italy San Diego restaurants that feels special.
