This delicious recipe for a Mississippi Mud Pie Cake is adapted from Matt Lewis’ delightful cookbook Baked Exlorations. It’s a chocolate-lover’s dream crafted by Lewis who is also co-founder of the Brooklyn bakery BAKED. It features a chocolate-cookie crust, topped with a flourless chocolate cake, filled with chocolate pudding and topped with whipped cream.
The recipe is adapted and shared by TCHO, a Berkley-based chocolate company known for developing high-quality, ethically sourced chocolate. The company established TCHO Flavor Labs – mini bean-to-bar chocolate-making labs that enable farmers to make and taste chocolate made from their own beans. We’ll have more on this company, and the innovative ways they’re working with cacao farmers, in a future feature.
This adapted recipe uses chocolate from TCHO which you can find here.
