The experts at Reynolds Kitchens are at it again with the perfect hack for your Taco Tuesday. With this recipe for Locos Taco Shells, you can easily replicate the delicious crunch and flavor of your favorite drive-through taco using nacho-cheese tortilla chips and hot sauce.

To make it easy, they’ve provided visuals of each recipe step outlined below!

Step #1

After preheating the oven and lining your baking sheet, mold 4-6 foil block molds to hold and shape taco shells. Molds should be approx. 4-inches tall by 5-inches wide. Place foil molds on top of baking sheet and set aside.

Step #2

Brush hot sauce on corn tortilla. Press crushed chips on top to fully coat the taco shell.

Step #3

Drape prepared shells over foil molds and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until shells are crisp. Cool for 10 minutes before removing shells from foil mold.

Step 4

Fill with your favorite meats, vegetables and cheeses, then serve.

Ingredients

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 cups nacho-flavored tortilla chips, finely crushed
  • As needed non-stick Reynolds Wrap®

Preparation

  • 1 Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Foil.
  • 2 Mold 4-6 foil block molds to hold and shape taco shells. Molds should be approx. 4-inches tall by 5-inches wide. Place foil molds on top of baking sheet and set aside.
  • 3 Brush hot sauce on corn tortilla. Press crushed chips on top to fully coat the taco shell.
  • 4 Drape prepared shells over foil molds and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until shells are crisp. Cool for 10 minutes before removing shells from foil mold.
  • 5 Fill with favorite taco fillings and serve immediately.
