All in the spirit of Power Plays, you can impress your friends with this funky little wine gadget. Something as simple and enjoyable as drinking wine has turned into a learning experience.
It’s called the Symposium, by Giuseppe Russo, and it includes a thermobottle with an RFID reader (wine reader) and a thermal baseplate for temperature regulation (wine chiller/warmer). This wine reader concept is meant to allow a richer wine tasting experience because it educates you about the wine before you drink it. The reader will reportedly give you specific data on the selected wine such as features, producer, vineyard, and a number of cultural references to places, traditions, poetry, art, and so on.
