Germ Zapper Offers Invisible Protection

By Cari Martens

We’ve been watching this trend for quite awhile, and now it is moving into the mainstream – germ fighting protection with a zap. Not content to just disinfect our hands with sanitizer anymore, we now want to eliminate virus-causing microbes on our keyboards, countertops, silverware and more.

According to,
all it takes is a 10-second scan with the Zadro “to destroy staph, salmonella, E.coli, flu viruses and more on keyboards, mice, phones, doorknobs, counters, pens – even a piano!” It runs on 2 Triple-A batteries, with a 4,000-hour UV bulb, and is available form Shaper Image.

The tools are getting smaller and smaller, until now you can carry your disinfecting wand in your pocket. We see it in the Shielding Wave, where you protect yourself from unseen dangers. This device is perfect for the germaphobes of the world . . . and more and more, that is all of us.
