Although the environmental laws were disputed by the soap industry, this action to step up to the unwashed plate is a big move. According to a review by Jonathan Brunt in a Spokane newspaper, this “may be the best thing that’s ever happened to Palmolive’s dishwasher detergent.”
By July 1, companies are required to limit the use pf phosphates in detergents distributed in certain areas of the country where water protection is a concern.
