Burger chain Carl’s Jr. has announced the addition of a new spicy chicken sandwich to its menu.
The Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich promises to, “bring tears to grown men’s eyes,” through spices in the jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and Carl’s Jr.’s signature Santa Fe sauce.
Carl’s Jr. conceptualized the product by combining the ideas behind the chain’s Jalapeño Burger and Jalapeño Six Dollar Burger with marinated and charbroiled chicken breasts.
In addition to the peppers, cheese, sauce and chicken, each Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich also includes tomatoes, lettuce and onions on seeded buns.
The Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich will sell a la carte for $3.99 or as part of a combo meal for $5.99, which includes fries and drink of choice.
