The latest political demonstrations are nothing compared to the 60s, when sit-ins were a popular way to express disgruntlement over the actions of the Establishment. Well, now there is the “eat-in.” According to Greenme.ie, an eat-in is when people gather in a “large, public display of food values,” to eat local food, in a local space. Generally held in a public park, an eat-in is about simplicity, sharing, and being public about it.
Next time you think about eating out, maybe you should consider an eat-in.
