Here’s a way to watch your diet that I bet you hadn’t thought of. Part pedometer, part monitor, the Fitbit from Impact Labs tracks your movements. Not just steps taken, but calories burned and quality of sleep. The device is wireless and uploads to the Web so that users can take a look at how they are doing. The online capabilities include a way to log in your meals and note calories eaten as part of a diet and fitness plan. And, you can compare with friends to see how they are doing, too!
Fitbit is meant to be worn around the clock, and reportedly will run for up to ten days on a single battery charge.
