Wendy’s plans to start serving its chicken salad menu items with warm center-cut breast filets in place of the traditional cold chicken.

Wendy’s spokesman Bob Bertini confirmed to Meatingplace.com that customers will be able to put warm chicken on the chain’s regular Garden Sensations Salads, including the Mandarin Chicken Salad, Chicken Caesar Salad and Chicken BLT Salad. They will be able to choose between Grilled, Homestyle or Spicy chicken as a topping. National television ads for the warm chicken salad items began July 7.
