We don’t have a lot of info on this new item, but it sounds intriguing. Chikotan Charcoal drink stirrers purify your water or cocktails. Made of Japanese bamboo charcoal, they’re rather striking in their blackness—could be a conversational ice-breaker at your next cocktail party.

Chikotans are said to be easy to rinse when you’re finished with them. They have a ceramic-like density, and a little time in the sun is all they need to recharge their purifying powers.

With one of these, even James Bond may prefer his drink ‘stirred, not shaken.’
