‘Make plenty so we’ll have leftovers!’
Well, of course, we always make plenty on Thanksgiving. So you’re left with lots of leftovers. And for the most part, that’s a good thing.
There’s something nice about being able to go to the refrigerator, open the door, and find row after row of neatly packaged turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole and potatoes. You think, ‘Wow, I won’t have to cook for awhile.’
But after you’ve eaten a round or two, you go to the refrigerator and think, ‘Oh, no, it’s all still here.’
If you’re heading out for the big Black Friday and other After-Thanksgiving sales, perhaps turkey sandwiches slathered with mayo and leftover stuffing will do the trick. But maybe you’d like to be just a bit more creative than that.
Well, we have a few ideas.
