Ingredients

Marinade

  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sambal
  • 1 cup sugar

Beef/Peppers

  • 1 pound thinly sliced sirloin beef
  • 1 dozen Shishito peppers

Preparation

Marinade

  • 1 Add ingredients to bowl and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.

Beef Skewers

  • 1 Marinate beef for 30 minutes then skewer. Grill skewers to cook beef. Once medium rare, use Bernzomatic TS4000 High Heat Torch to finish cooking and blister peppers. Serve.
