Honey Glaze Pecan Topping

Jazz up your favorite pecan or sweet potato pie with this topping that is perfect for the holidays.

  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup pecan halves


  • 1 Preheat broiler.
  • 2 Prepare a baked pie.
  • 3 In a nonstick pot, combine brown sugar, butter, and honey.
  • 4 Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly.
  • 5 Add pecans and stir until well coated.
  • 6 Spread topping evenly over pie.
  • 7 Place pie in broiler and broil until topping is bubbly and golden brown. Watch carefully!
