Blondie Bars are a pretty classic go-to dessert, but with the addition of robust Black Walnuts, you’ve got a whole new treat. I’m Cari with The Food Channel; let’s go do some baking!

Be sure to heat your oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl blend together your flour, packed light brown sugar, and granulated sugar.

In a separate bowl, combine vegetable oil and slightly beaten eggs. Add this to the flour mixture, stirring until moistened. Stir in Black Walnuts and pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. You’ll find Black Walnuts in the baking aisle of most grocery stores.

Black Walnuts are an on-trend way to add a regional American ingredient, as well as being sustainable, harvested by hand, and friendly to the environment.

Now, get in the kitchen!
