Chef Ace Champion and his good friend, Knockout Keo, are in the kitchen again. This time making a healthy juice-based cocktail called the Jamaican Karamba.
Made with fresh carrot juice, rum and the juice of a freshly squeezed orange and lime or lemon, it’s served in a glass topped with a dash of nutmeg for some extra kick! – Editor
Jamaican Karamba—Serves 1
3 ounces fresh carrot juice
2-3 ounces of Heath Rum (or your favorite)
1-1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
Juice from half a freshly squeezed lime (or lemon if you prefer)
Nutmeg to taste
Add all ingredients, except nutmeg, to cocktail shaker. Shake well. Pour into a martini glass and garnish sides with 1 lime and 1 lemon wedge. Sprinkle nutmeg over the cocktail. Enjoy your trip to Jamaica!
