During the winter holiday season, one of my favorite things is enjoying a lazy morning, with a warm blanket, morning television, my trusty rescue dog, Gomez, and something warm for breakfast. Sometimes, that’s only a beverage. But during the holidays, the pace slows a bit.
This year, we’ve witnessed a new place at the table for international flavor influences and dishes. Grandma’s delightful, and classic, biscuits and gravy most definitely still have a place. But that space is shared with some of the comfort foods and holiday traditions of other cultures.
